A few things to know.
Which office files can I convert?
PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, ODT, ODP, ODS, ODG, RTF, TXT, and CSV. Each document page or presentation slide becomes a separate PNG. Spreadsheets use their print areas and page setup; large sheets can span several images.
Are my documents sent to a server?
No. The rendering engines download to your browser, but your files stay on your device. Office conversion needs a modern browser, sufficient memory, and an initial engine download of approximately 240 MB for formats other than PDF. PDF conversion does not need the office engine.
Will the images look exactly like my original file?
PDF is the best choice for preserving a fixed layout. Word documents (DOC and DOCX) and other Office documents use LibreOffice in your browser. Unavailable fonts, charts, and advanced formatting can differ. Slide animations and transitions are not included. For exact layout, export to PDF from your original application before converting.
What are the limits?
Add up to 5 files of 25 MB each, and export up to 100 pages or 200 MB of PNG images per batch. Each page is limited to 20 million pixels. For large documents, use a page range or a lower resolution. Password-protected PDFs need their password; unlock Office files in their original application first.
